It has passed one year after the last litter. We planned to mate one of our dogs with a beautiful Algrand Berni Vashington. However this male could be available for his “service” just from the February 2014. Shanel’s heat was expected in December so we found another male in abroad. We were planning but God was laughing. Unexpectedly I had an operation and it brought some doubts if I have enough strength and be able to take care of the puppies. Shanel brought some surprises as well – her heat started later and the mating was expected on the most beautiful winter holidays – Christmas! The time was inconvenient neither for me not for the male owners. This situation caused some stress and has adjusted our plans. But now I can say that Christmas – is the time of miracles. We received the agreement to maite Shanel Cesar Brizo with Algrand Berni Vashington earlier and I sincerely say THANKS to the kennel „Alpių Slėnis“ owners Andrinai Tunaityte ir Irina Kondra. As expected the mating was on the Christmas. On this special day not only we ate “kūčiukai” (traditional meal for Christmas), but “newlyweds” got some to taste as well. Today we can proudly announce that Shanel’s belly is getting bigger and she is expecting puppies!

The father of puppies is Algrand Berni Vashington (shortly calling Vania). Vashington born in the kennel "Algrand Berni" in Moscow (Russia). The owner of this kennel is Irina Koroleva. Vania was one of the 13puppies in the litter. Mom Shanel is from a big litter also (12 puppies). Vashington lives in Lithuania, kennel "Alpių Slėnis". I had the opportunity to see how boy grew, developed. Now Vania is 2 years old and “Shanel” is his first love. He has a wonderful character, very gentle and obedient male. Vania has a nice big head, wide chest, he is bony, with a very good body anatomy, temperament and light movements. He is 65cm high and 55kg weight. Vashington’s father is interchampion Espahan Maximus van't Rijkenspark, mother multi/interchampion Algrand Berni Adeli Red Star, grandfather- Interchampion and World Vice champion of 2010, the winer in Europe of 2010 – Bernerdalens Brandy. In the Vashington's blood line you can meet so many famous dogs: Bernerdalens Ruben, Bernerdalens Nokia, Xtralarge v.d Weyenberg, Noonah, Gamay Genny van't Rijkenspark, Herletta's Unik, Noklebyasen's Online, ZolotoAllp Noris.

We hope this couple will give us amazing puppies. Shanel should give a birth in the end of February. The future mummy feels great, has a good appetite, walks a lot and takes care. We are expecting a smooth birth.

Today we received a package from the studio www.woollen-studio.com founded by Mrs. Milda Jonaitienė. This studio is selling a high quolity yarns and other products. The package was full of wonderful colourful woollen yarns. This a gift for the future puppies. It will be enough for a long time. I’ve already knitted different colour ribbons which very soon I will tie up on the puppie's necks. I am very thankful to Mrs. Milda Jonaitienė for such an amazing present! your products make happy not only people but also our best four-legs friends.

Going the last days of pregnancy. Shanel’s belly is a big. I feel how puppies are “dancing” in her belly. For female is difficult to walk already. We go outside ofen, but our distances are not long. Shanel has a good appetite. She eating the dry food Royal Canin , vegetables and frutes. At this time her big delicateses is mandarins. She gets beef’s and chicken’s broth,cottage cheese, fish oil. We are ready and waiting safe and fast birth. My sweety, Good luck to you !!! So soon you will become a mom again …

2014-02-25 was born "M" litter  9 puppies ( 6 girls & 3boys)

24 February Shanel started worry, so often went outside to clean her organism. Delivery was natural. The first puppy was born 24 February in the evening 11.49 o'clock, the last 25 February in the morning 8.46 o'clock.  All birth continue 9 h , it is so good time. The smalles litters puppy weight is 510gr, the biggest 665 gr. The averagelitter'sweight is 573.33gr. Shanel we are so proud of you. You did big job and gave to us so nice puppies...

Hello, world, we are 2 days old already...

Spent the hardest week. The puppies was born, but come  other worries now. We must to look that puppies eat good, every day control them weight and watch, that mom do not press babies. The puppies weight one weeks old  are so good. Blue and violet boys  have weight more 1 kg, other puppies weight is more 900gr.  Today we had the first visitors. Grandaughter Austeja is so happy, that puppies do not hide more in the Shanel's belly and now she can tuch and kiss the babies...

At video puppies are one week old.. They eating every 2 h a day and sleeping...

 Puppies 2 weeks old. All babies opened the eyes. The biggest puppy's weight is 1.695kg the smallest- 1,445kg. Granddaughter Austeja every day like to be with puppies, give the kiss and hug and look, that all puppies be in the box...

 Bernese mountain puppies are 3 weeks today. They have the teeths already. Babies started to eat mash from dry food Royal Canin and are satiated and happy...

Today puppies are 1 months old. They are growing beautifully. Their weight is more 3 kg. All puppies have a brown eyes and good bite. Babies eating the mash and drinking the mom's milk yet. Puppies are 6 weeks old. The biggest puppy is the litter is blue boy. His weight is 6.295kg, the smallest weight has orange girl - 5.185kg. Puppies have the names and pedigrees already.

Puppies leaving the homeland...

 Here it came the time to say goodbye. Rikke Jeremiassen arrived from Denmark to take her chosen boy Magnat Debon. He was the first who jumped on her knees and didn’t let her from the horizon. Magnat in his new home will have a friend - two years bern zenenhund boy named Kaozi. Magnat is going to attend dog shows and I wish him a huge success! Be happy my boy with your new family.

 On the 26th May Magnus Dux Tai Brizo has left our home. Now he is living with a new owner Egle in Vilnius. Magnus got into strong hands. After the last shot he is going to attend the obedience trainings for puppies. Since the new family has relatives in Klaipeda I really hope Magnus will come to visit me more often.

Our little orange girl Miss Monako Tai Brizo has left to her new house. Father with daughter and sun came to take her. Puppy girl is staying to live in Lithuania. She won’t get bored with two new little friends who really needs Miss Monaco so much. At home they will call her Cherry.

The 4th May was a special day. We were waiting for a new family from Moscow (Russia) who had to pick up the yellow girl Merci Paris Tia Brizo. Meanwhile we had experienced 4 seasons. The morning was sunny and worm, later came a strong wind and brought a heavy rain, the weather got very cold and it started to snow! However nobody got scared of these changes neither us nor the new puppy’s owners. Merci with a joy met her new family.

 The 7th and 8th May were very intensive days. We brought three puppies to Riga’s airport where they had to leave to Germany and to catch the flight to America. After two days at 3AM (Lithuanian time) I received the message that puppies finally arrived. They were very hungry and happy to see their new family and to be cuddled again.

On the 11th of May puppy girl Madame de Monsoro Tai Brizo for the first time met her new owners Natalia and Aleksej from Sant Petersburg (Russia). Monsoro couldn’t understand why she had to go out from the car and say hello to these people. She met her new family with a loud barking on them. It was a very hard to say goodbye to my beloved girl. Be happy in your new home.
